Privacy policy

This page is short, because there is genuinely nothing to disclose.

Munch Monsters collects nothing. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no crash reporting of its own. There is no networking code in the game: it cannot send anything anywhere, and it works identically with the internet switched off.

We built it this way on purpose. Munch Monsters is made for children aged 4–7, and we think the only correct amount of data to collect from a child is none.

What the game stores, and where

The game remembers your child's progress — which levels are complete, the star ratings, which foods are unlocked in the Food-Dex, and whether music is on. All of it is saved on the device itself, inside the app's own storage. It never leaves the device. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

What we never do

No personal information is collected, from children or adults. No name, no email, no photos, no location, no contacts, no microphone, no camera.

No third-party services run inside the game. No ad networks, no analytics SDKs, no social media buttons, no external links a child could wander through.

No advertising identifier is used, and nothing is shared with anyone — there is nothing to share.

The App Store

If you download Munch Monsters from the App Store, Apple handles the download and tells us nothing about you beyond aggregate download figures. Apple's own privacy policy covers that transaction. The game's App Store privacy label reads "Data Not Collected", and this page is the long version of the same fact.

Children's privacy

Munch Monsters is designed for children and is built to comply with children's privacy law, including COPPA in the United States and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, the simplest way possible: by collecting no data at all. There is no data to request, correct or delete — but if you have any question or concern as a parent or guardian, we want to hear it.

If this policy changes

If a future update ever changes any of the above — for example, if we one day add an opt-in feature that needs the network — this page and the App Store privacy label will be updated first, before the feature ships.

Noodle Dragon Studio's studio-wide privacy policy covers our website and everything else we make. Where the two differ about Munch Monsters, this page is the one that is true.
